Gallery Lambton will feature the exhibition Ètudes/Studies, a collaborative venture between Karen Fletcher, and Isabella Stefanescu, from October 20 to November 24, 2007. 

Ètudes/Studies is a beautiful exhibition that looks at the working process of these two figure based artists. In this exhibition, the works are their individual responses to the same figure model. Karen Fletcher creates dynamic, expressive works in clay. Isabella Stefanescu's drawings are energetic and intuitive, capturing a pose through well-placed lines. Ètudes/Studies offers a unique opportunity to view the artistic process that precedes each finished work of art. Etudes/Studies will include a selection of full size finished work by each artist.

Artists Karen Fletcher and Isabella Stefanescu will also be on hand to offer a portfolio critique  on Friday, November 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Gallery Lambton.  Those who are interested need to pre-register and make an appointment.  The fee is $10.
