Let’s Visit - A Long Time Ago (Primary)
This programme introduces students to the museum and the artifacts that are housed here. Students learn about 'Then and Now' and about what early settler life was like 'A Long Time Ago'.
Pioneer Discovery Tour (Junior-Senior)
This programme allows students to interact with selected museum artifacts as they explore key aspects of early life in Lambton. The tour includes visits to the:
- Beef-ring Slaughterhouse
- Ravenswood Blacksmith Shop
- 1857 Tudhop Home
- Transportation Barn
- Agricultural Barn.
Short Stay Museum Visit (All Grade Levels)
If you have less than 90 minutes to spend at the museum, we suggest your class enjoy a self-guided tour of the site with their adult group leaders. The visit begins with an introductory video presentation and each student will receive a stamp page to complete on their visit.
Christmas Programmes are available:

A Child’s First Christmas In Canada - (Primary-Junior)
Explore holiday traditions brought to Canada from around the world. Learn about an Early Pioneer Christmas, the Mexican Posada, the Chinese New Year or Dutch Star Singing.
A Medieval Adventure - Grade 4 Students
